Apartment Art

So we're all familiar with the rules of apartment living right? If you paint the walls, you must return them to their original color before you leave. The same goes for nail holes, you have to fill them in. Well here are a few wall-altering options from Weego Home that will allow you to personalize your space and  won't jeopardize your security deposit.

Hey Good-lookin'!

These are just a few seating pieces from Holly Hunt that any office, home or otherwise, would be fortunate to have.  These updated classics are so handsome that you might just spend a couple extra hours at the office admiring them.

The Holly Hunt Studio- No. 27 CHAIR is a nod to Mid-Century Modern.

The John Hutton for Holly Hunt- LOOK OCCASIONAL CHAIR is clean and contemporary.

The Holly Hunt Studio- CRESCENT CHAIR (front) has an Art Deco feel.
(back)

The Holly Hunt Studio- MODERN SOFA is the newer sexier version of the wingback sofa.
The Holly Hunt Studio- GEORGE V SOFA is a modern take on Duncan Phyfe's Sheraton style sofa.

Kids!

If I were a kid, I'd want rooms like these. Gone are the days of clunky bunk beds and oak bookshelf headboards.  These rooms by Doimo City Line are modern, stylish and absolutely practical. Even better, they have longevity. They are equally suitable for all transitions; From kids, to tweens, to teens! Hello!

Limelight: Harlem Toile De Jouy

I have been obsessed with Sheila Bridges' Harlem Toile De Jouy wallpaper since I discovered it a few years ago.  Bridges explains, [It] "tells a rich, yet satirical, story about African-American life through the often-distorted lens of the media. I designed it to remind people of many of the stereotypes that have historically been and continue to be associated with African-Americans living in rural parts of the country as well as urban areas like Harlem.” It comes in five wonderful shades and I think it's the perfect paper for a powder room or foyer.

Well now I'm even more obsessed with the Harlem Toile De Jouy plates and glasses! You can display them like artwork or use them at your next dinner party as a conversation piece. They can be used as everyday dinnerware too (microwaveable and dishwasher safe), but I couldn't do it. They're way too special!

Small Space Solutions

We all know one of the biggest challenges with small spaces is storage. Multifunctional pieces such as a sofa that doubles as a bed, a coffee table with hidden storage, or a console with drawers like the two below are perfect solutions for any small space.  At roughly 18" deep, they aren't too obtrusive and your console and your dresser can be one and the same. Love it!
